Sports Massage Therapy

Sports massage therapy treatments help to increase range of motion, leading to enhanced performance.  They also decrease muscle soreness after physical activity and reduce recovery time post injury.  It helps increase levels of relaxation and reduction in physical and psychological stress levels. Unlike a full body massage, the practitioner will focus on specific areas of the body that are exhibiting an imbalance. The techniques used during your sports massage can vary, but the main goal will be to flush the tissues of lactic acid, uric acid, and other metabolic wastes out of soft tissues, along with lengthening and stretching the muscles.
